Slipping and sliding closer to the release of their overwhelmingly anticipated debut album, Squid have shared 'Pamphlets' - the final early preview of Bright Green Field. The gargantuan track's final form is a result of continual "shape-shifting", the band explain. Sprinkled with a good amount of science fiction-inspired sound effects, the motorik backbone of 'Pamphlets' provides a sense of structure and pace, as intertwining vocals from drummer Ollie and guitarist Louis add different perspectives to the oddball subject matter, which Ollie explains as being "about all the rubbish right-wing propaganda you get through your front door. It imagines a person with that as their only source of news being taken over by these pamphlets." Bright Green Field will arrive via Warp Records (next Friday the 7th of May) - strap the hell in.
